Alternative Medicines/ Treatments: (Always consult with your Doctor first)

  • Many IBD patients also feel other alternative therapies such as acupuncture or acupressure
help relieve their symptoms.  Other alternative therapies include hypnosis, deep breathing,
and herbal therapies.  Always ask a doctor before trying any alternative therapy, especially
since herbs can react with prescription medicines.
