Do you have Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)?  Are you living with Crohn's
Disease
or UIcerative Colitis?  Do you know someone who is living with either
disease?

Welcome to IBDLiving.com!  We have created this site as a place for those living with
Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis to be supported, gather information, and share
information.  We hope that you will find everything you need and want to know about IBD
here.  We have a growing support group for everyone on our
Message Board where you
will find more information and up to date news relating to everything IBD!

Our new page on
Coping is up and running!!! You can find how many people cope with
the emotional challenges of living with IBD.  The page is filled with personal challenges
and coping skills written by us and many other people living with Crohn's and UC.

A little about us...We are Southern California sisters who have lived with Crohn's Disease
for years.  Amy, 30, has had Crohn's Disease for nine years.  Casey, 33, has lived with
Crohn's Disease for over six years.  We have more than 5 people in our family with
Crohn's Disease, which is remarkable in itself.  We are blessed by our faith, families,
friends and a fabulous local
CCFA support group that has become our second family.
You can read our full stories on the
Personal Stories page.  You will also find personal
stories written by other people living with IBD.

On the
Medicines page you can find links to almost all IBD related medicines.  The links
will take you to the drugs site so you can obtain all the info you need on your meds or
prospective meds.  The
Surgeries page provides a brief overview of surgical procedures
relating to IBD.  We will be updating the Surgery page with more information soon!

The
Diet page gives diet examples of liquid diets, soft foods diets and other diet options.
You can also visit the
Tips and Tricks page to find clever ideas on how we and others live
everyday with IBD.

We hope that these pages of information and ideas, along with the other site pages, will
help you or your friend or family member with IBD.  Whether newly diagnosed or a long
time IBD'er, there is something for everyone here.

We are absolutely amazed at the response this site has had. Since we launched in
January 2007, we have had the pleasure of meeting great people from all over the world.
We are inspired to grow and reach out to the IBD community.  We have gained so much
ourselves from the people we meet and from the resilience and strength that we find in
each individual.  Thank you!

We want everyone that is affected by Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis to live a
better life.  That better life begins now.

Through IBDLiving.com we begin to live again.
IBD LIVING
Begin to Live Again
We wish good health and happiness to all!!!

Take Steps with Haley for Crohn's and Colitis -

IBDLiving is featuring Haley in Orange County, CA as our star of the Orange County
CCFA walk on June 29th this year!  Haley is 11 years old and was diagnosed with
Crohn's disease at age 6. Haley has struggled with pain and horrible debilitating
symptoms. She has gone through so many medicines, hospital visits, tests and missed
so much school.  Right now Haley is taking Humira injections and methotrexate, a
chemotherapy drug to help her control her Crohn's symptoms.  She has been battling the
disease with the help of her family, wonderful mom Allyson and many skilled doctors.

Haley is a very brave, strong and courageous little girl who we can all find inspiration in!
We are so honored to be able to call her our friend and we are delighted to support
Haley in her effort to cure IBD.   Please help Haley find a cure for IBD and donate to her
Walk page for the CCFA to find a cure for this dreadful disease!
